"Helen is a very considerate host. She combines professionalism with the warmth of a friend’s welcome in their home. We were made to feel very relaxed when we arrived and of course the filter coffee bags and biscuits helped! The breakfast table with an individual plate of fruit looked inviting. There were various options for the award-winning breakfast, all attractively presented. The traditional English breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Everywhere was very clean and we had all we needed. Our bed was comfortable and the room cosily warm in the very cold weather. The shower had plenty of hot water and the towels were fluffy. We shall certainly return. "

"Just a short note to thank you for your hospitality when we stayed at your lovely B&B on our recent trip to Aylesbury. We enjoyed our stay there – wished we had allowed more time We are settling back into home now and it all seems like a distant (but pleasant) memory. Hopefully it will all come flooding back when we get out our photographs. Kind regards John and Christine Minchin Tasmania"

"Hi Helen – I would just like to thank you so much for looking after us and my elderly parents so well, and for making us so welcome at your lovely B&B. Your rooms have everything anyone could need (including milk for our tea in a little fridge. How thoughtful!) – and everything is spotlessly clean. And breakfast was wonderful in terms of both presentation and the quality of the food itself. The next time we need overnight accommodation in that part of the country we’ll happily be prepared to go out of our way to come and stay at House FortyOne! Best wishes to House FortyOne! "We would whole-heartedly recommend House Forty-one as an excellent place to stay in the Aylesbury area. Not only is it very convenient for visiting sights in the area, but it is comfortable, very clean and very good value for money. My husband and I stayed there with my mother during extremely hot weather and Helen made sure that we were comfortable, providing fans and he option of a sheet for the bed to replace the duvet. The fridges in the rooms were a very thoughtful touch.. Helen made us very welcome and nothing was any trouble. The breakfasts were lovely, with plates of freshly prepared fruit on the table every morning and a great choice of menu to suit all tastes. Ensuite bathrooms modern and spotless. Highly recommended - thank you, Helen, for making our stay so pleasant."
