"Helen is a very considerate host. She combines professionalism with the warmth of a friend’s welcome in their home. We were made to feel very relaxed when we arrived and of course the filter coffee bags and biscuits helped! The breakfast table with an individual plate of fruit looked inviting. There were various options for the award-winning breakfast, all attractively presented. The traditional English breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Everywhere was very clean and we had all we needed. Our bed was comfortable and the room cosily warm in the very cold weather. The shower had plenty of hot water and the towels were fluffy. We shall certainly return. "

"Hi Helen, Thank you so much for the lovely stay. Beautiful house and the cleanliness was spot on. Felt very safe in these strange Covid times. The breakfast was outstanding and couldn't have asked for anything more. You were so welcoming and it really did go above all our expectations. Lovely big rooms and spacious even with a baby. Kind regards, Steph."

"If you are undecided - definitely go for it! We were undecided but did decide to stay at house forty one and we are very pleased that we did. It is clean and tidy; our room was spacious with a very nice en-suit bathroom. The breakfasts were wonderful and Helen did a great job of catering for my gluten allergy. Helen is a lovely person who has got it just right not only with the accommodation, but also in her approach to clients, attentive but not overbearing. We would recommend this B & B wholeheartedly."
